2Eligibility for the Patient/Consumer Volunteer membership category is restricted to individuals who encounter HTA through their roles as patients, care-givers, or consumers, and who do not encounter HTA through paid employment. New members in this category are asked to submit a brief statement describing their involvement with HTA.
3Eligibility for the Alumni category is restricted to individuals with at least 10 years of active HTAi membership or service (including Board, Committee, or Interest Group roles) who are fully retired from all professional activities and do not hold paid advisory, consulting, or related roles. New members in this category must send an email to membership@htai.org including their years of service or membership (minimum 10 years), their retirement status and confirmation that they do not hold any paid professional, advisory, or consultancy roles.
