The HTAi HTA in Developing Countries Interest Group (DCIG) is seeking Expressions of Interest to fill vacancies on its Steering Committee.
This Interest Group is dedicated to sharing members’ experiences, activities, resources, opportunities for education and training, discussing ideas and projects, needs, challenges and solutions that are specific to the developing countries.
The Steering Committee provides governance, strategic direction, and oversight for DCIG activities, ensuring alignment with the Society’s Strategic Plan. It meets regularly, contribute to the design and delivery of initiatives (e.g., webinars, workshops), and reports updates to the Interest Group. Additionally, the SC conducts key evaluations, oversees external communications, explores collaboration opportunities, submits updates to the HTAi newsletter, and prepare funding requests.
Term
Three years, beginning January 2026. The term can be renewed for a further 3-year by mutual agreement.
Candidates must be able to:
- Demonstrate active engagement in the field of HTA in one or more countries where HTA is developing;
- Meet the expectations of Steering Committee membership as set out in the Terms of Reference;
Preference will be given to members who have been active participants in DCIG. Members will be selected to ensure a balanced composition of the Committee.
