Candidates for the 2023 Board of Directors Election

The Board of Directors and its Nominating Committee are pleased to present the following candidates for the 2023 Board of Directors Election.

The 2023 Board of Directors Election opens on March 30, 2023 at 08:00 MDT and closes on May 2, 2023 at 23:59 MDT. The election is managed by a third party, who will provide a ballot to each member in good standing. Votes must be submitted via the unique electronic ballot provided by the third-party election management company.

Nomination Criteria

Essential

An understanding of HTA and commitment to the HTAi Mission and Vision
Experience in leadership and governance of for-profit and/or not-for-profit organizations and experience with strategic planning and its execution
A collaborative team player who interacts effectively with other Board members in a constructive manner
Credibility, integrity, and high ethical standards
Time and ability to serve on the Board with a minimum of 4 meetings per year, 1 strategic planning session, 1 orientation session, one AGM, and serving on 2 Board Committees that meet at least 4 times a year, and time and ability to chair one of the Committees

Desirable

Experience in membership & sponsorship engagement, recruitment, and retention, promoting the HTAi activities and areas of knowledge in the regions
Knowledge and expertise in areas within the HTA definition
Experience in business model innovation and development of growth strategies
Financial expertise (accounting designation or MBA)
Business development & fundraising expertise
Marketing and communications expertise
Industry and patient representation
Resides in a region that is underrepresented: North America, South America, Oceania, and Asia
