The Dynamic HTA Working Group unites stakeholders to advance practical frameworks, tools, and case studies supporting their implementation across diverse health system contexts.

Incorporating environmental sustainability into HTA is critical to support healthcare sustainable development. The definition of HTA emphasizes the inclusion of environmental aspects, however this domain is still not widely adopted globally. 

Community of Practice on AI for HTA activities

Established by the HTAi Global Policy Forum (GPF) in July 2025 with the aim to interconnect members of the GPF, HTAi Interest Groups, and other subject experts to advance the understanding and appropriate use of AI for HTA activities in a safe, responsible, and equitable way. 

Early HTA Terminology Working Group

A clear definition of the term “early HTA” is lacking and there is confusion with related terms such as “early advice”, “early dialogue”, and “development-focused HTA”. Reaching a consensus on what is meant by each of these terms will form a foundation for discussion and dialogue about the best methods to adopt and improve the profile of the work.

HTAi-HTAsiaLink-ISPOR Special Task Force

A joint Task Force between HTAi, HTAsiaLink, and ISPOR was established to advance the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of high-quality HTA guidelines that are fit for diverse contexts and decision-making needs. 

Lifecycle Approaches in the HTA Task Force

The Lifecycle Approaches in HTA Task Force was established following the recommendation from the 2022 HTAi Global Policy Forum (GPF) to build on the Forum’s discussion about this topic. 

HTAi-DIA Working Group on Management of Uncertainty

The HTAi-DIA Working Group explored how stakeholders can collaboratively manage uncertainty at the regulatory-HTA interface, fostering shared understanding and improved outcomes for patients and healthcare systems.  

HTAi-ISPOR Task Force on Deliberative Processes for Health Technology Assessment Special Task Force

A joint HTAi and ISPOR Task Force developed comprehensive guidance and a practical checklist enabling HTA programs to implement effective deliberative processes.
