Flora Wan | Program Manager, SickKids AI Service · The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids)

Flora joined The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in November 2024 as the Program Manager of the SickKids AI Service, an enterprise program focused on bringing AI solutions from ideas to impact. Prior to this role, she held positions at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence and at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she worked across both clinical and research organizations. Flora holds a Master of Applied Science in Human Factors Engineering and an Executive Master of Health Informatics, both from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Driven by a deep interest in bridging innovation and impact, Flora is passionate about the practical implementation of AI solutions into clinical and operational workflows to improve the quality of life and experience for both patients and healthcare teams.

Sedef Akinli Kocak | Director of Applied AI Projects · Vector Institute

Sedef Akinli Kocak is the Director of Applied AI Projects at the Vector Institute, where she leads a suite of programs aimed at building workforce capacity in artificial intelligence and integrating advanced technologies into current and future industry work streams. She also leads the Global Alliance for Climate Action Initiative at Vector. Recognized for her inspirational work and contributions to the Canadian tech and AI ecosystem, Sedef is awarded the Leader of the Year 2025, AI for Good in Women in AI, North America, and listed in the “Top 25 Women in AI: Canada Edition,” nominated for the DMZ Women of the Year Annual Award 2022. An accomplished researcher at the intersection of sustainability and software-intensive systems, She is the co-founder of the Sustainability Design Research Alliance. Sedef was recently appointed as an Adjunct Professor at Ontario Tech University, working within the Trustworthy AI Lab. Sedef is a member of ACM, IEEE, Engineers for a Sustainable World, Women in AI, and AI4Good. She serves on the academic advisory committees of several AI-related initiatives and has chaired and co-organized numerous academic conferences and workshops.

T. Ufuk Eren | Business at OECD (BIAC) Health Committee Member · TUSIAD/ OECDT

Ufuk Eren is a globally recognized healthcare leader with over 35 years of experience spanning multinational corporations, advisory, and venture investment across three continents. He began his career at Siemens Medical Solutions, rising through the ranks to serve as CEO for clusters covering 30 countries across Central Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia and South Asia. He currently serves as Founding Partner & CEO of Volitan Global, an Istanbul and San Francisco-based firm active in 12 countries across healthcare advisory, investment, and innovation management. As Healthcare and Life Sciences Sector Leader at EY Turkey & CESA, he continues to advise leading organizations on M&A, digital transformation, and go-to-market strategy. He is a Partner at Aescuvest, where he co-managed over 12 investment rounds raising €30M+ for HealthTech and MedTech companies across Europe. Ufuk also serves on the Executive Board of BUPA Acıbadem Insurance and is a Health Committee Member at Business at OECD in Paris. Most recently, he co-founded EnaBridge, a Silicon Valley-based HealthTech venture fund headquartered in San Francisco, dedicated to bridging innovative healthcare companies between North America, Europe, and GCC markets. EnaBridge operates with a $100M fund thesis, sourcing cutting-edge deals directly from the heart of the global HealthTech ecosystem alongside world-class partners including Stanford University and leading Silicon Valley VCs. A serial investor in companies such as Rayscape, Neteera, Scopio Labs, and Zymot — the latter delivering a 3.5x return on exit — Ufuk brings a rare combination of operational, strategic, and investment expertise to every endeavor. Dr. Şükrü Mehmet Ertürk | Professor of Radiology and Chair of the Department of Radiology · Istanbul University School of Medicine

Dr. Şükrü Mehmet Ertürk is Professor of Radiology and Chair of the Department of Radiology at Istanbul University School of Medicine and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. He has held a number of senior academic and leadership roles in Türkiye and internationally, including appointments at Harvard Medical School. His clinical and research interests span advanced imaging, radiomics, and the application of artificial intelligence in radiology, and he has an extensive publication record in these areas. Dr. Ertürk is also actively engaged in professional leadership, contributing to several European and national radiology societies.

Mark Parker | Director · ZEM Solutions

Mark Parker is a director at ZEM Solutions with more than 20 years experience in international health economics projects and health technology assessment. Mark Parker is Health Economic modeller (University of Liverpool, University of York, UK) and Health Economics Consultant, Completing the MSc in Health Economics at the University of York, UK (2009). Primarily involved in leading the development of comprehensive health care assessment and analysis using agent based modelling/Multi agent systems of care pathways, economic models and their evidence basis for use in global value dossiers, international HTA submissions, and national projects such as DRG development, patient registries and their analysis. Further specialising in the challenges of the CEE region and healthcare development. Experience in a wide range of disease areas and population modelling, working with industry, NGOs and governmental institutions to deliver a strong educational background in economics, software development, distributed systems and Artificial Intelligence (1st, BSc Economics and Computer Science, UoL).
