HTAi Webinar | Sharing Hospital-Based HTA Experience in Developing Countries

This webinar aims to share experiences from different developing countries on how to implement hospital-based HTA, its challenges and advances.
Introduction: Hospital-based HTA in low- and middle-income countries serves as an essential tool for improving healthcare outcomes and ensuring efficient allocation of resources. The Implementation of HB-HTA faces several challenges, such as limited financial and human resources, insufficient awareness of HTA use in hospitals and lack of adequate data. Formalizing HTA processes in hospitals can strengthen decision-making related to healthcare interventions, thereby improving patient outcomes and optimizing health expenditures. Leveraging regional collaborations and knowledge transfer of HTA applications can contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of health systems. This webinar is hosted by the HTAi HTA in Developing Countries Interest Group (DCIG).
