Reviewers Wanted: The International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care

International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care (IJTAHC) serves as a forum for the wide range of health policy makers and professionals interested in the economic, social, ethical, medical and public health implications of health technology. It covers the development, evaluation, diffusion and use of health technology, as well as its impact on the organization and management of health care systems and public health. In addition to general essays and research reports, regular columns on technology assessment reports and thematic sections are published.

IJTAHC is seeking reviewers with expertise in areas within the scope of IJTAHC relating to health technology assessment including systematic review, health economic evaluation, patient/citizen issues and health policy. Participating as an IJTAHC Reviewer is not only beneficial for your career development, it is a great way to contribute to the global HTA community!

HTAi Latin America Policy Forum heads to Santiago, Chile!

The 2023 Latin America Policy Forum (LATAM) is taking place August 13-15 in Santiago, Chile. The Forum will include discussions surrounding its background paper, “How new access schemes, including risk-taking agreements, can contribute to coverage decisions”. Priorities 2024 Conference
Submissions for the 2024 Priorities Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, hosted by HiTAP and the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, are now open for Organized Sessions and Workshops. Oral and Poster submissions open August 15. Learn more

From the European Commission: The latest HTA Stakeholder Network summary report is now available. The report covers the first meeting of the HTA Stakeholder Network which took place on June 14, 2023.  Read more

From New Zealand: Pharmac joins an international collaboration of government HTA agencies. The collaboration, which includes Australia, UK, and Canada, was established in 2022 to advance use of HTA. Pharmac joined in July 2023. Read more

From CADTH: CADTH’s annual report is now available. Read more

From ESMO: The European Society for Medical Oncology provided feedback to a public consultation launched by the EUnetHTA 21 Consortium on two of its draft deliverables on HTA in Europe. Read more
