Deadline Extended: Call for Expressions of Interest — PCIG Steering Committee, Coordinator

The HTAi Patient and Citizen Involvement Interest Group (PCIG) is currently accepting Expressions of Interest for several key positions on its Steering Committee, including Finance Secretary, HTA agency representative, and industry representative from the medical devices/diagnostics sector. Additionally, PCIG invites Expressions of Interest for an E-Bulletin Coordinator position within the group. These roles offer a unique opportunity to actively contribute to strengthen HTA with the systematic incorporation of patient and citizen perspectives.

The deadline for Expressions of Interest has been extended to August 21, 2024.

The HTAi Policy Forum Team is excited to share the following 2024 and 2025 Policy Forum locations and updates.

Upcoming 2024 Meetings

The 2024 Latin America Policy Forum will be held August 11-13, 2024, in Cartagena, Colombia. The meeting topic is Navigating the Future: Horizon Scanning and Early Dialogue in HTA.

The 2024 Asia Policy Forum will be held in Seoul, South Korea, November 6-8, 2024. The topic of the Forum is Collaboration: Building Bridges in HTA.

The 2025 Global Policy Forum will be held in Cascais, Portugal, January 26-28, 2025. The meeting topic will be announced later this year.

The HTAi Patient and Citizens Interest Group invites you to join the upcoming webinar, Plain Language Summaries to Support Patient Expert Input to HTA: Lessons and guidance for Patient Organisations, HTA Bodies and Industry. This short webinar by the HTAi Patients and Citizens Involvement Group (PCIG) project on the implementation of the SIP will discuss how the use of plain language summaries in HTA can be introduced in other countries using the learnings and best practice from pilots by NICE in England and PBAC in Australia. It will be of interest for all stakeholders involved in HTA submissions and processes – HTA bodies, patient experts, manufacturers, and healthcare professionals.
