The 2024 Board Election is quickly approaching! Board Elections provide an opportunity to fulfill one of the most important duties for HTAi members: voting!

The Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and policies of the organization. As an HTAi member, exercising your right to vote ensures you have a direct say in the leadership and future of the organization. Each member brings a unique perspective, experience, and expertise that is crucial to well-rounded decision-making, leading to a vibrant and involved community.

The next steps are as follows:

    • Candidate Announcement: The nominees for the 2024 Board of Directors will be announced to the membership on March 29, 2024.
    • Election Dates: The 2024 Board of Directors election will open on April 2, 2024, and close on May 2, 2024.
    • Election Process: Our election is facilitated by CES, a trusted third-party electoral service. CES will directly email the election ballots to all members of the Society in good standing. As per HTAi bylaws, only members with up-to-date 2024 membership fees are eligible to vote.
    • Encouragement to Nominees: We encourage nominees to actively campaign and urge their HTAi network to participate in the voting process.
    • Announcement of Results: The election results will be unveiled at the Annual General Meeting of Members. Additionally, they will be posted on the Society’s website and social media platforms. Those elected will assume their positions immediately following the Annual General Meeting in June, with the exact date to be announced later.
