We are calling for an additional Deputy Editor to enhance the current team. Suitable candidates with considerable experience in HTA and evidence-based medicine with a strong publication record and excellent English writing skills are invited to apply. Additional expertise in some of the following areas would also be useful: qualitative health research, patient/citizen involvement or health policy. Additionally, areas such as equity and ethics would be of interest too.
In your application, please highlight your connection to/knowledge of HTA and experience in publishing, as well as in an editorial role.
In this role you would be expected to manage up to 20 articles per year. You will support the Associate Editors and assist, where needed, in finding reviewers. You will be required to make recommendations to the Editor in Chief. The role requires very regular activity on the journal website to facilitate a timely review process, which is essential for attracting authors to publish with us. The estimated time required (on average) is in the order of 4 to 5 hours per week.
