HTAi’s RWE-AI Interest Group regularly showcases the perspectives and work of some of its members on topics related to AI. This webinar will be part of the RWE-AI Interest Group’s April meeting. The recent launch of ChatGPT has received attention across the globe. Even before the arrival of ChatGPT, AI has impacted healthcare decision making in many ways, including in HTA and HEOR. During this webinar, key experts will provide an overview of AI-related HTA policy and use cases based on an assessment of submissions in four countries, followed by a summary of likely future opportunities for the application of AI in HTA, with selected real-world examples. These will include the use of AI in analysis of patient-level data to support outcomes research, the application of AI to cost-effectiveness, and how large language models such as GPT4 can be used in systematic literature reviews and content generation for dossier submissions.
